Barriers to Success: Excess Baggage

One barrier to success, in selling or any other profession (and in life), is unfinished business and excess baggage. You always go back in time and bring your baggage into the present. You spend a lot of time with your baggage and your unfinished business.

You have two choices: either cope with life and move through it, or put the baggage down.

Baggage can take many forms: phobias, prejudices, sensitivities, or fears. The first step in removing baggage is to admit that it exists and then commit to removing it.
