Job Description:
Our client is a manufacturer of top of the line technology used in the acute critical care space. This is an established company on the rise. They are searching for a Director of Marketing based in the greater Chicago area. If owning the downstream side of their marketing efforts, leading a team of 4 and working in a dynamic environment for a company that is now only growing their business but are making a difference and helping to save the lives of patients around the globe, this is the position for you.
DUTIES
- Lead a cross-functional team to create and implement a 5-year North America marketing strategy. Create annual marketing plans that drive the client towards standard of care with sustained revenue growth.
- Manage a team that will create a comprehensive and effective marketing communications strategy to generate product awareness and ramp-up adoption and utilization.
- You will be responsible for maintaining productive relationships with KOL's. clinical associations and clinical influencers in order to ensure that clinical data are sufficient, effectively presented, and clinically relevant.
- Partner with cross-functional team members and key customers to drive their products to standard of care across the entire acute care continuum.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree (advanced degree preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in medical device marketing, focused on demand & revenue generation.
- 3+ years managing a high performing team, with proven examples of teaching and coaching team members
- Strong P&L awareness; ability to adapt and apply solutions to positively impact revenue & profitability
- Develop a compelling strategic vision & execution of a downstream marketing program for North America
- Previous team management experience with a focus on effectiveness, productivity and innovation
